John Leon Blocher, 76, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 8:30 am, Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at his home. He was born May 16, 1940 in Wabash, to John Matthew Blocher and Imogene M. (Sharp) Williams.
John was an escort driver at Wendt’s in Wabash, retiring after 20 years.
He is survived by his three children, Linda (Kenneth) Casada, John W. (Lisa) Blocher, and Stacy (Brian) Kern, all of Wabash; 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; sisters and brother, Sandy (Michael) Gosnell of Huntington, Indiana, Danny (Diane) Williams of Wabash, Linda Moore of Lagro, Indiana, and Barbara Williams of Wabash. He was preceded in death by his parents, step father, James Williams, and one grandson.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 9-10:30 am Tuesday, at the funeral home.
