JoAnn Donaldson Blair (90) was born in Detroit on July 6, 1926 to Joe and Maggie Donaldson. She traveled the world as an Air Force wife with her husband and family until their 1972 retirement when the family settled in Peru.
She was a former president of Dukes Hospital Auxiliary Pink Ladies and worked at State Farm Insurance for over 30 years. She was the Miami County Breast Cancer Reach for Recovery Representative for over 20 years and was herself a 43 year breast cancer survivor. She was an active volunteer at Air Force Family Services when overseas.
Preceded in death by husband Jimmie, she is survived by her children, Laurie Reynolds (Dennis), Scott (Sharon), Tim (Rizz) and Erin Beyer (Jeff). She was grandmother to Jason Reynolds and Alison Jung (Chad), and great-grandmother of Alexis and Morgan Reynolds, Thatcher, Wyndham, and Kipling Jung, She is also survived by sister Norma Schneider.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru Indiana with funeral service following at 1:00 PM.
In keeping with tradition, and out of respect for JoAnn, please show up at least 15 minutes late… as was her practice.
