Joan Mooney, indulgent mother, loving wife and caring friend to many passed away on October 3, 2017 at the age of 87. Joan was proud to have made her house a home for over 55 years alongside her loving husband Chuck who preceded her in death.
In this home, she raised her two daughters Anne Hudson and Deborah Shuler (deceased), she looked after her grandchildren Justin Shuler, Stephanie Bonin, Josh Inman, Vickie Sampson and Ron Hudson Jr. and while doing so, gave selflessly as a compassionate caregiver. In return, her family gave her much joy as well as nine great grandchildren.
Joan was a member of the First Christian Church where she formed many friendships and developed her love for God. She enjoyed passing time with her dog, Buddy while listening to country music and acting as matriarch to the family she so loved.
In honor of Joan’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no service.
