Jimmie Lee Williams, 70, Marion, died at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis at 5:11 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. He was born in Starksville, Mississippi, to Odie and Annie (Paster) Williams.
Jimmie was a U.S. Army veteran and worked at Fisher Body as a machine operator. He loved to travel, fish, and go to ballgames.
He is survived by his mother; brothers, John DeLoach, East St. Louis, Missouri, and Willie B. Mays, Marion; nephew, Bobby (Gracie) DeLoach, East St. Louis; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceding him in death were brothers, Willie Rogers and James Chandler.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Integrity Funeral Care, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, IN. A 1 p.m. graveside service will be held at Marion National Cemetery with burial following.
