Jeremiah (Jerry) Driscoll, 84, of Huntington,, IN, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017, at 1:18 a.m. at his residence.
Mr. Driscoll was born on October 13, 1932, in Wabash County, IN, to William and Teresa (Coughlin) Driscoll. His parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Driscoll was a graduate of Huntington Catholic High School, Class of 1950. Jerry served in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft mechanic and worked on B-36 Bombers. He retired after working on the Railroad and in the automotive industry. He also worked part-time at the Huntington Airport and Crain Ford. He was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, the VFW Post # 2689 and Knights of Columbus Council #1014. Mr. Driscoll was an aviation enthusiast and pilot. Jerry owned two Aeronca champs and flew for many years.

Survivors include his companion of 33 years, Jeannine Goings, Huntington, IN; three sons, William “Bill” (Deb Teeters) Driscoll, Sebring, FL, David (Heidi) Driscoll, Uniondale, IN, Daniel “Dan” (Deb) Driscoll, Huntington, IN; two daughters, Angela (Don) Garner, Huntington, IN, Teresa Stone, Huntington, IN; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Margaret Meyer, Huntington, IN.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two grandchildren; three brothers, John Driscoll, William Driscoll, James Driscoll and four sisters, Lucille Barker, Catherine June Weed, Anna Driscoll, and Dorothy French.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McElhaney- Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN.

Additional calling hours will be held prior to Mass on Friday, February 10, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, Indiana 46750, with Fr. Silvino Ndayambaje presiding.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to “Friends of St. Patrick” at Lagro Catholic Church in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.

Burial with Military Rites will be held in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
