Jeffery Allen Baker, 43, of Roann, IN passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 after a long battle with cancer.

Jeff was born in Peru on October 5, 1973 to Charles and Judith (Sutton) Baker. He was a 1993 graduate of Peru High School.  He married Christina Fountain, formerly of Muscatine, IA, on January 21, 2009. He was employed by Medtronic in Warsaw. Jeff loved fishing, playing pool with his brother and enjoyed watching the IU Hoosiers and the New York Yankees.

Jeffery is survived by his wife Christina, his mother Judy (Carl Statzer). Also, daughter Kayla Baker of Plymouth; and sons Sutton of Plymouth, and Peyton and Rheise of Roann; and twins David and Elizabeth, also of Roann. Also, five grandchildren: Sutton II and Nolan Baker, Peyton and Kingston Barber, and Lettie Baker.  Also, sister Beth (Troy)Tomes and brother Bill (Linda) Baker.  Also, nieces Emilee Cyphers, Amee Tomes, Alyse Fountain and Kassy Wilson; and nephews Wesley Cyphers and Gabe Fountain. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Baker, as well as grandparents Wesley and Alice Sutton, Lester and Grace Baker, and granddaughter Zaylee.

The family would like to thank Kindred Hospice and The Center for Hospice Care Elkhart for their help in caring for Jeff.

Services celebrating the Life of Jeffery Allen Baker will be held at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, IN.  Visitation will be from 2pm – 7pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, and also 10am – 11am on Thursday, February 16, 2017.  Funeral service will follow at 11am on Thursday, with Pastor Brad Eckerley officiating. Burial will follow at Rankin Cemetery, Bunker Hill, IN.
