Jason W. Thompson, 37, Fowlerton, beloved son of Mike E. and Jackie J. (Sorrell) Thompson, died at 5:50 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Norwood Health and Rehab, Huntington.
Jason was born in Marion, IN, and he was truly a gift from God. He brought great joy to his family, and they will hold many memories dear to their heart. Jason loved to play video games and build models. Most of all, he will be remembered for the very courageous battle he fought with cancer and other illnesses for the past 21 years. He fought a good fight, and he will be greatly missed.
Those surviving Jason include his mother, Jackie J. Thompson, Fowlerton; brother, Mike C. Thompson, Fowlerton; maternal grandparents, Jack (Billie) Sorrell, Marion; and several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. His father preceded him in death.
At the family’s request, there will be no services.
