Janet “Sue” Singleton, 63, of North Manchester, Indiana, died at 12:30 pm, Monday, November 7, 2016 at Parkview Wabash Hospital. She was born August 5, 1953 in Sitka, Kentucky to Douglas and Lee Edith (Jones) Burke.
Sue was a graduate of Johnson Central High School, in Johnson County, Kentucky. She married Terry Singleton on August 11, 1973; he died May 30, 2006. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for 30 years. Sue was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Wabash. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting elephants, fishing, her cats, and especially loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children, Stephanie (Brian) Johnson of Jacksonville, Florida, Stephen Singleton of North Manchester, and Tera (Michael) Blair of Peru, Indiana, seven grandchildren, Mariah Nelson of Andalusia, Alabama, Sierra (Edwin) Iniguez of Jacksonville, Tiera Helms, Tia Helms, Kaleen Helms, Dalyla Helms, and Jayce Blair, all of Peru. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
There will be a memorial service at a later date. Inurnment will be in Falls Cemetery. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, 207 W. Main Street, North Manchester.
