Janet E. Wright, 68, Shelbyville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at Walker Place in Shelbyville, Indiana. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on July 16, 1949, to the late Del and Dorothy (Hasty) Wright.
Janet was a 1967 graduate of Marion High School and a Porter Business School graduate. From 1973-1993, she worked at Carpenter Technology, where she was a customer service coordinator. She then worked for four years as a general clerk at CNA in Carmel (1994-1998) prior to finishing her career at and retiring from Renaissance, Inc., Indianapolis, Indiana (1998-2013). She had a great sense of humor and loved knitting and cats.
The family will have a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2017, at Gardens of Memory with Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
