James B. Boxell, 77, passed away on June 17, 2017. He was born in Marion, Indiana on May 20, 1940.
James graduated from Marion High School. On December 17, 1960 he married Mary Ann Kindler. She preceded him in death on December 14, 2016. After working for many years, he retired from Gen Corp Automotive. When James was not working, he enjoyed spending his time with family. He was a member of the Phi Delta Kappa and the Gas City Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his son, James “Jimmy” L. (Pamela) Boxell, Marion; grandchildren, Olivia Wilson, Bloomington; Joshua L. Boxell and Cory Boxell, both of Marion.
James is also preceded in death by his daughter, Miriam Wilson.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 between 4-6 pm at Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 South Washington Street, Marion Indiana.
