Isabel Stetzel, Age 92, of Warren, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 12:15 a.m. at Heritage Pointe in Warren. Isabel was born in Van Buren, Indiana, on August 26, 1924 to Clarence and Josie Campbell, both deceased. Isabel was a dental assistant and office secretary for many years at Dr. Jim Mott’s dental practice in Warren.
Isabel was a life-long member of the Warren United Methodist Church (now Solid Rock). She spent her retirement years in Lakeland, Florida and attended the First United Methodist Church in Bartow, Florida.
Isabel’s first husband, Glen A. Perry, passed away in 1977. they had two sons both deceased: Daniel G. Perry (1997) and Thomas D. Perry (1969). also deceased are Isabel’s sisters, Mary Dean Pownall and Esther Campbell; and a brother, Allen Campbell.
Isabel married Von Stetzel in September 1979 and he passed away in December 2010. Isabel’s dear friend, Joyce Sorg, also preceded her in death in 2013.
Isabel is survived by a brother, Jim (Lois) Campbell, of Warren; and a grandson, Daniel Perry. Also surviving is Isabel’s dear friend, Pete Sorg.
Isabel loved to square dance and custom made many of her outfits. in her spare time she liked to embroider, knit, crochet, play cards and dominos.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Heritage Pointe Applegate Chapel in Warren. A funeral service celebrating Isabel’s life will be held following visitation at Heritage Pointe. Burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery in Warren.
