Imo Jean Wine, 97 of Fort Wayne and formerly of Huntington passed away at 8:55 am on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Coventry Meadows in Fort Wayne. Imo Jean was a 1938 graduate of Huntington High School. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. For many years she worked alongside her husband as the secretary and treasurer of Wine Plumbing and Heating. She was also an Avon Lady for 13 years. During the early years their children were home, she was very active with the Lincoln Elementary PFA. She enjoyed gardening and embroidery.

Imo Jean was born on February 8, 1920 in Huntington the daughter of Harvey and Lorene (Tumbleson) Gressley.

She was united in marriage to Paul B. Wine on June 1, 1941 in Huntington. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2009.

Survivors include two daughters: Patricia (Cliff) Woods of Idaho; Darlene (Barney) Massa of Markle; two sons: Berdell (Kim) Wine of Fort Wayne; Kent (Kelly) Wine of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Wanda Fidler.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 10:00 am with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.

Interment will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made out to First Church of the Nazarene or to Visiting Nurse and Hospice both in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
