WABASH, Ind. – Winners of the Annual Miami County Winter Banner Competition were honored in an awards ceremony and reception that took place at Peru High School on Mon., Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. The annual competition, open to Miami County students, was sponsored by First Bank of Berne, with additional support from Beta Gamma Chapter of Psi Iota Xi.
Special thanks go to the board of Peru Community Schools, Peru High School staff, and to First Bank of Berne, who graciously agreed to move the reception from the bank to the high school. The Honeywell Foundation team was excited to celebrate the accomplishments of Miami County’s students in their own community.
Students from the following schools participated in this year’s contest: Elmwood Elementary, Blair Pointe Elementary, Peru Junior High School, Peru High School, Maconaquah Elementary, Maconaquah Middle School, North Miami Elementary, and North Miami Jr-Sr High School.
