Harvey A. Millington, age 78, of Warren and formerly of Huntington, went to be with his Lord Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 4:30 pm at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was a machinist at Dana in Andrews for 44 years, delivered the TAB for many years, and attended Salvation Army Church. He was an avid fisherman, gardener and bowler.
Harvey was born January 20, 1938, in Bluffton, the son of Kenneth and Sarah (Lutz) Millington. On January10, 1960 he married his beloved wife of 56 years Devonna Krieg in Huntington and she survives in Warren. Also surviving are 2 daughters Carol (Bob) Harlan of Warren and Martha Dalrymple of Huntington, 4 sons Ricky A. (Tammy) Millington of Huntington, James D. Millington of Warren, Carl A. Millington of Warren and Thomas L. (Heidi) Millington of Rome City, 27 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 6 sisters Lillian Ray of Huntington, Nancy DeYarmon of Lafontaine, Norma Archbold of Decatur, Bonnie (James) Welchel of Lafayette, Betty Sills of Huntington, Sarah (James R.) Legg of Lafontaine, and 2 brothers Wayne Millington of Nevada and Ned (Linda) Millington of Markle. He was preceded in death by 4 sisters Irene Sands, Dorothy Elston, Mary Lou Enyeart , and Doris Millington and a brother William Edward Millington.
Visitation will be held Tuesday November 8 from 2-4 & 6 -8 pm at Deal-Rice Funeral Home- Huntington Chapel, and one hour prior to the 3:00 funeral service Wednesday, November 9 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery.
