Harry Leo Campbell

Harry Leo Campbell, 78, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 12:05 am, Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Parkview Wabash Hospital.  He was born November 13, 1938 in Wabash, to William and Midge (Brown) Campbell.

Harry was a graduate of Wabash High School.  He married Lorah Hettinger and she preceded him in death.  He was a hotel manager all over the U.S.  He was a life member of the Marion Eagles Lodge.  Harry lived in Wabash the past 10 years, and formerly lived in Fort Wayne and Marion.

He is survived by four step-children, Bob Chapman of Columbia City, Madeline Smithheart and Malinda “Sue” Ferris, both of Fort Wayne, and Kenneth Hartel of Logansport, sister, Lorene Campbell Banks of Wabash, and brother, William Lee “Billy” Campbell of Marion.  He was also preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters Wanitta Nordman and Helen Sammons.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am Monday, December 12, 2016 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Rev. Ralph Johnson officiating.  Burial will be in Star City Cemetery, Star City, Indiana.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.
