H. Joan Wiley of Warren, IN, passed away on September 7, 2017 at Heritage Pointe in Warren. She was the daughter of the late Ezra Wendell and Esther Josephine Lamb. Joan was born on Sept. 18, 1924 in Amboy, IN. She married Harmon D. Wiley in 1945, and he preceded her in death in 2001. She has attended The First Baptist Church in Warren.
Survivors include son, Rex (wife, Diane) of Indianapolis; sister, Marilyn Fordyce of Tallahassee, FL; 3 nieces (Debbie Perry, Natalie Bache, Marilyn Crowell); 2 nephews (Kerry Fordyce, Tim Fordyce); granddaughter, Carli (husband, Reid) Thompson and 5 great grandchildren of Maple Grove, MN.
A memorial service will be held October 1 @ 11:30 am at Heritage Pointe’s Applegate Chapel in Warren with Rev. Edwin Clark officiating. A luncheon will follow in the Calico Lounge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Disabled American Veterans via DAV.org, or mailed to the DAV at Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
