at Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Wabash. She was born May 19, 1922 in Tyrone, Pennsylvania to Glen and Mabel Stonebreaker.
Guinevere graduated from Tyrone High School. She married James McCoy Brisbin in the parsonage of the Columbia Avenue Methodist Church in Tyrone; he died October 26, 1987. She was a Bell telephone operator several years. Guinevere was a member of the Church of The Good Shepherd in Tyrone and attended Wabash Church of the Brethren and the Wabash First Church of God. She volunteered at CHEER, Inc. She was a former board member of American Heart Association, Meals on Wheels, and the Church Women United Thrift Shop.
She is survived by two sons, Rodney M (Kathy) Brisbin of Wabash and Sidney P (Linda) Brisbin of Burnettsville, Indiana; four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother.
Funeral services will be 2 pm, Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Kay Gaier officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 12:30 – 2:00 pm before the service at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Alzheimer’s Association.
