Give Me a Break

Give Me a Break

Available for your reading pleasure are over  4 million words, each helping you ascertain how much you owe and how much you could save if you are diligent enough to find the deductions and “credits”.  That’s why they call the Tax Code “the accountant employment security law”.  And don’t forgot the ever popular tax attorneys, especially if you make a mistake.

Did you use these?

Education Credits   I don’t know if you can get a school loan to qualify

Child and Dependent Care Credit  Adopting an eligible child may qualify you.

Health Coverage Tax Credit  Use the PS link below to figure this one.

Saver’s Credit  Goodness knows we try.

Earned Income Tax Credit   More money if you earned less than $53,267; but you must have a job and have earned at least $1.

You surely understand that a tax CREDIT is a direct deduction from your taxes due, while a DEDUCTION is a paper reduction in your taxable income.

Remember the government gives money away, not you. If you give property (including cash and bitcoins) or sell something at less than its full value or make an interest-free or reduced-interest loan, they say you may be making a gift.???  And you may pay the tax.!!!

It has been said that short of death I’ll still have taxes, even at my advanced age.  Oh, I forgot.  Death won’t stop the taxes.  I’ll just be less aware, as far as I know. The estate tax is a penalty for transferring property at your death. It consists of an accounting of everything you own or have certain interests in at the date of death. Is there no end?

So, there will be death and there will be taxes even afterwards.  I  personally feel it’s high time for the government to Give Me a Break.  Think About It.

P.S.  Want more Credits?      Now you can have it all.  The Code.
