Garry R. Clark, 81, Converse, died at Colonial Oaks Healthcare and Rehab at 12 a.m. on Monday, April 17, 2017. He was born in Elwood to the late Cleo and Zella (Sorrell) Clark.
Garry graduated from Elwood High School and married Beverly A. McCracken on December 3, 1955. He retired from Swing Sets, Inc., in 1955 and previously worked at St. Regis Paper for six years and was a carpenter for eleven years. He enjoyed golfing, bird watching, fishing, reading, and watching westerns on TV.
He will be missed by his loving wife of 61 years, Beverly; 6 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren with one on the way.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two sons, Charles and Bruce Clark; daughter, Carole Gill; brother, Jerry Clark; and sisters, Patsy Cannon and Carmel Porter.
In accordance with Garry’s wishes, there will be no services.
Arrangements are entrusted to Integrity Funeral Care, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, IN.
