Garnet B. Hunnicutt, 98, of Warren, IN, formerly of Poneto, IN. passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Heritage Pointe in Warren, IN. She was born on Friday, November 21, 1919, in Bluffton, IN. She married Ralph Hunnicutt on Saturday, September 04, 1937 in Bedford, Kentucky. Mrs. Hunnicutt was a homemaker. She was a member of the Wells County Farm Bureau and the Salamonie Campers Club. She was an avid gardener, milked cows on the farm, and enjoyed playing Bingo. She was a long time member of the Boehmer United Methodist Church Liberty Center, IN. Mrs. Hunnicutt had lived at Heritage Pointe in Warren, IN. for 8 years.
Loving Survivors Include her Sons – Rex (Cheryl) Hunnicutt, Franklin, TN, Eugene (Connie) Hunnicutt, Uniondale, IN, 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Husband – Ralph Eugene Hunnicutt, Father – John William Elzey,
Mother – Dessie L. (Simons) Elzey, Sisters – Zelma Jackmeyer, & Virgie Hartwell, and Grandson – James C. Hunnicutt.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Heritage Pointe Applegate Chapel 801 Huntington Ave. Warren, IN. on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
A service to celebrate Garnet’s life will follow at the Heritage Pointe Applegate Chapel at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 with Pastor’s Barry Humble and Gerald Moreland officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren, IN.
