Frances I. Pollard, 90, formerly of Gas City, died Sunday, July 24, 2016, with family by her side. She was born in Kirk, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Harve and Alice (Armes) Wardrip.
Frances married Heath Pollard on October 25, 1946, in Anderson. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1977.
Mrs. Pollard attended Upland United Methodist Church. She was formerly employed with RCA, Marion, and Pierce Company, Upland, before retiring in 1987.
Survivors include a son, Michael (Marie) Pollard, Fairmount; a daughter, Nancy Kopp, Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Harvey, and George; three sisters, Mary, May, and Maggie; a son, Tony; and a great grandson, Jason.
