Forrest L. “Willie” Fox

Forrest L. “Willie” Fox, 46, died Thursday, December 28, 2017 at his Summitville, Indiana residence after a long and hard fought battle with cholangiocarcinoma cancer.

Willie was born in Marion, Indiana on January 8, 1971, son of the late Robert Lee Fox and Carolyn S. (Cole) Dawson.    Willie graduated from Madison-Grant High School in 1989.  He had been a hod carrier for 19 years and most recent, a supervisor for American Woodmark.  Willie was an active and loving person, full of life and loved to have fun.  He had coached little league for 11 years. Loved golfing, mushroom hunting, fantasy football, corn hole, spending time with friends, and remodeling his family’s home as well as being a loyal Cubs fan.

Willie is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jennifer L. (Marquell) Fox,  daughter, Alexis (Jalen Wilkins) and their son, Sylus Wilkins, Fairmount, and three sons; Austin Cole, Fox, Adam M. Fox and Andrew J. Fox all at home.  Sisters; Karie (Joe) Merrill, and Emilie (Kenny) Wood both of Fairmount, Parents-in-laws; Anne & Ned Crow, Muncie and Jerry and Janet Marquell, Blaine, Washington, sister-in-law Beth (Joe) Sparks, Muncie, brother-in-law, John (Karrin) Marquell, Ft. Wayne, and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Cole Dunham.

Arrangements for Willie have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 4-8 PM.  Funeral service is Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 10 AM with Rev. Alexander P. Soultz officiating.  Burial with graveside service will follow at Park Cemetery in Fairmount, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to defray expenses.
