Former Bunker Hill Clerk-Treasurer Owes Town and State $73,424.07

BUNKER HILL, Ind. – Following a lengthy investigation, the Indiana Board of Accounts is requesting that Bunker Hill’s former clerk-treasurer, Lisa Wilson, pay the town and state a total of $73,424.07 for a variety of items ranging from alleged personal online and home improvement store purchases to utility payments. A 16 page report that was forwarded to the Indiana Attorney General’s Office alleges non compliant spending between January 1st, 2014, to December 31st, 2015, by Wilson. Miami County Prosecutor Bruce Embrey said they received a copy of the report three to four weeks ago and expects that a warrant will be issued for Wilson’s arrest shortly.
