Florence D. Bradley, 105, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 9:05 am, Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Miller’s Merry Manor West in Wabash. She was born November 10, 1910 in Blackford County, Indiana to Walter Irven and Goldie (Emshweiler) Dick.

Florence married John David “J.D.” Bradley in Hartford City, Indiana on October 5, 1930; he died November 22, 1986. She worked for Wabash Magnetics 21 years, retiring in 1973. Florence was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, and the Rachel Circle and Senior Fellowship Group of the church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #90, the Progressive Home Ec Club, AARP, and the Wabash County Farm Bureau. She enjoyed gardening, working puzzles, and reading.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Wahlig of LaPorte, Indiana, Beverley Anacker of Brownsburg, Indiana, Sharon (Chris) Newhouse of Wabash, eight grandchildren, Tim Wahlig of Laporte, Beth Eckert of Plymouth, Indiana, Greg Wahlig of LaPorte, Laura Burchard of Kokomo, Indiana, Brent (Margot) Burchard of Slidell, Louisiana, Ron (Tammy) Burchard of Pittsboro, Indiana, Bradley (Carrie) Harris of Wabash, and Larry Scott Harris of California, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great great granddaughters, several step grandchildren, and several step great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters, one grandson, and two great grandsons.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am Monday February 29, 2016 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Ken Goble officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Monday, at the funeral home.
