PERU, Ind. – October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and on Thursday, October 19th, Family Service Association will host a candlelight vigil in Peru for the Indiana victims of domestic violence. The vigil will be held at the FCC Firehouse located at the corner of Main and Miami Streets beginning at 6:30PM. Mayor Greer will be present to read the Proclamation declaring the community’s commitment to eliminate domestic violence. The public is invited to attend.
