Esther B. Linderwell, 82, Marion, died at 1:18 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016, at Marion Rehab and Assisted Living. She was born in Ponca, Nebraska, to the late John Henry and Mary (Weiand) Kuehler. Esther married Howard K. Linderwell on November 29, 1952, and he preceded her in death on August 21, 2005.
Esther was a homemaker and was also an office manager with H&R Block. She was very involved in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She served as a girl scout leader for many years. Esther also enjoyed square dancing and doing crafts.
She is survived by her children, Barbara (Kevin) Hinkle, Logansport, Keith (Cathy) Linderwell, Churubusco, Marilyn (Troy) Carter, Marion, Terry (Donna) Linderwell, Columbus, Ohio, and Kimberly (William) Cline, Abilene, Texas; grandchildren, Jeremy (Candice) Hinkle, Shannon Hinkle, Kyle (Heather) Hinkle, Steve (Schlaura) Linderwell, Todd (Amanda) Linderwell, Tyler (Melva) Linderwell, Heather Carter, Katelen (Darren) Rutledge, Christopher (Melissa) Linderwell, Kayla Linderwell, Travis Cline, Zachary Cline, Joshua Cline, and Sarah Cline; and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Feldhacker and Clara Martinsen; brothers, Henry and Howard Kuehler; and a baby brother.
Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Services for Esther are at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at the funeral home with Father Richard Weisenberger officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory.
