Eileen was born in Birmingham, England on February 19, 1927. She was one of three children born to the late Walter and Agnes (Noons) Powell. She passed away on June 1, 2016 in Northern Lakes Nursing Center, Freemont, Indiana.

Eileen spent most of her life in Marion and during her working years she was employed by K-Mart until her retirement. In her free time she enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles, scrabble and playing yatzee. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, the rosary society and Transatlantic Brides and Parents Association.

Survivors include her children, Lynne Oliver, Angola; David M. Pritchett, Thomas A. Pritchett,Pamela E. Cruz and Brian G. Pritchett, all of Marion; grandchildren, Teri (Rex) Parrish, Jeffrey Oliver, Robin (Roger) Cruz, Tracy Oliver, Antonio (Jennifer) Cruz, Mario (Alexandria) Cruz, Fidencio (Lindsey) Cruz, Jr., Lorenzo (Chassity) Cruz, Candace Pritchett, Christopher Pritchett, Vanessa Pritchett; several great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.

Eileen’s husband, Glen R. Pritchett preceded her in death on April 22, 2003. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Dennis Powell and Gerald Powell; one grandchild, Patricio Cruz.

The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 6, 2016 in St. Paul Catholic Church, 1009 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Rev. Richard Weisenberger officiating. Extended family and friends will gather from 10:30am until services on Monday in the church. Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 South Washington Street, Marion, Indiana was entrusted with the arrangements.
