Edna Mae Bailey, 86, North Manchester, IN died at 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2016 in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN. She was born March 22, 1930 in Prestonsburg, KY to Clay & Anna Mae (Whitaker) Shepherd. On December 15, 1951 she married Amos Bailey. He died January 13, 1986. Edna was employed with Warsaw Furniture and later retired in 1978 from Korth Furniture, Warsaw, IN. She was a member of Victory Rock, Sidney, IN. She loved God and reading God’s word, baking and cooking. She is survived by one son, Walter (Sharon) Shepherd Jr., Columbia City, IN; one daughter, Eliese Nonnemacher, Goshen, IN; sisters, Rose Elliott, Warsaw, IN, Marie Shepherd, Phoenix, AZ and Ruth Ann (Tim) Shepherd, North Manchester, IN; grandchildren, Yvonne King, Tina Rena LaVerne, Stuart Scott, Dan Tiehl, Jayne Anne Moles and Terry Nonnemacher; twenty-six great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Three brothers, Alonzo Shepherd, Steve Shepherd and Lonnie Shepherd, and two sisters, Leota Howard and Fannie Minnix, are deceased. Family and friends may call Friday, June 10, 2016 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Victory Rock, 6170 S 500 E, Sidney, IN. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2016 at Victory Rock, 6170 S 500 E, Sidney, IN. The family will also receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Friday at the church. Pastor Charles Trout and Pastor Rick Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.
