Earl E. “Casey” Jenkins, 87, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 1, 2017.

Casey was born May 21, 1930 to Vern and Anna Jenkins in Miami County. On July 5, 1952, he married Waneta P. (Garber), his wife of 65 years. They had one son James E. Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother (Kelton), and a sister (Marilyn Harts),

Casey was a member of the McGrawsville United Methodist Church and a Marine. He was a lifelong farmer, raised white-tailed deer, and was a seed consultant. You could find him out driving to visit with friends all over town almost daily. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, and family. He really enjoyed pestering the spouses of his grandsons and finding all kinds of “work” for his son and grandchildren. He was an ornery, headstrong man that had a heart full of love for life and his family and he will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife Waneta, and son Jim (Tami), four grandchildren; Tyler (Kristen), Kodi (Stephanie), Ethan (Olivia), Abbi. and three great grandchildren: Hunter, Kenli, and Ainslee.

Visitation will be held at the McGrawsville Methodist Church on Thursday July 6, 2017 from 2 — 7 pm. Funeral services will be held at the church Friday, July 7, 2017 at 10am, with Pastor Kenny Cole officiating. Burial will follow at the Rankin Cemetery, with military honors provided by the Miami County Military Rites Team.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Allen Funeral Home.  Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at www.FlowersLeedyAllen.com.
