Eagles Theatre to Host Hoosier Idol Auditions

WABASH, INDIANA, August 15, 2017 — Eagles Theatre, a historic entertainment venue in Northeast Indiana, will host auditions for Hoosier Idol on Saturday, August 26 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.  

 

The Hoosier Idol audition is open to all contestants between the ages of 15 and 28. Eagles Theatre doors will open at 2 p.m. for registration and the auditions will go through 6 p.m. The public is welcome to attend and watch the auditions, and the event is free to all contestants and audience members.

 

“We are very excited to welcome local talent, friends and family to Hoosier Idol,” said Cathy Gatchel, Vice President of Development and Marketing at the Honeywell Foundation. “The event will be a wonderful showcase of local talent and popular culture, and we look forward to enjoying it together in Eagles Theatre.”

 

The first place winner of Hoosier Idol will receive a Silver Ticket, which grants them a one-on-one audition with an American Idol Executive Producer at the next round of auditions in Chicago on September 11, 2017. In addition, Hoosier Idol’s second and third place winners will receive Front of the Line Passes, which enables them to bypass the line of contestants at the American Idol Chicago auditions.
