Dustin E. Haynes, 38, passed away on December 12, 2016. Dustin was born on October 2, 1978, in Marion, Indiana. He attended Mississinewa High School and graduated in 1997. Dustin worked for Peer’s Tree Service.

Dustin was a one-of-a-kind guy with a heart of gold. Anyone who met him loved his personality and left with a smile on their face. Dustin enjoyed riding motorcycles and dirt bikes. He also loved going to lake houses and boating. Dustin was so proud of all of his kids. He loved watching his son, Ian, play basketball. He was looking forward to walking his daughter, Whitney, down the aisle at her wedding next year. His daughter, Trinity, took after Dustin’s personality and is just as full of life as Dustin was. Dustin will be missed by all who came into contact with him.

Dustin is survived by his mother and father, Kathy and Jim Peer, Marion, IN; father, LaVern Haynes, VanBuren, IN; 3 children, Whitney (Carl Simpson) Haynes, Gas City, IN, Ian Haynes, Gas City, IN, and Trinity Haynes, Marion, IN; 2 brothers, James (Sadie) Peer, Huntington, IN and Jeremy (Erin) Peer, Fort Wayne, IN; 3 half siblings, Tiffany Haynes, Courtney Haynes, and Caleb Haynes; maternal grandmother, Nancy Nash, Marion, IN; Auntie Momma, Sally Nash-Adams, Marion, IN; special gran, Shirley Haynes, Marion, IN; special friend, Gretchen Sprinkle, Gas City, IN; and numerous friends.

A funeral service honoring Dustin will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Ave. Marion, Indiana, with Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating. A visitation has been set for Sunday, December 18, 2016, from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m., as well as an hour before the service on Monday.
