Douglas Wayne Davis, 55, formerly of Fairmount died Sunday, August 28, 2016 at his daughter’s residence in Huntertown, Indiana.
Doug was born in Marion, Indiana on October 21, 1960, to the late Gilbert M. Davis and the late Betty (Darling) Davis. He graduated from Madison-Grant High School in 1979. Doug had worked as a private computer contractor and most recently as a truck driver. He attended the Cedar Creek Church of Christ in Leo, Indiana. Doug loved traveling across the country on his Indian Motorcycle and also loved music, spending time with his friends, and was always the clown of the party.
Doug is survived by his two daughters: Brooke Davis, Huntertown, Indiana and Dylan, Davis, Rome Georgia.
Four sisters;June Moulton, Arkansas, Connie Maynard, Marion, Indiana, Jackie (Jerry) Hinkle, Fairmount, and Darlene Ice, Fairmount, Five brothers; Jerry (Lana) Davis, Marion, Indiana, Danny Davis, Peru, Indiana, Robin (Connie) Davis, Lagro, Indiana, Richard (Karen) Davis, Georgia, and Dean (Laura) Davis, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where there will be visitation on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 11 AM-1 PM with a funeral service following at 1 PM with Rev. Erik Riddle officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home to help with final expenses.
