Dora E. Moyer, 84, North Manchester, IN passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 6:40 p.m. in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN. She was born March 17, 1933 in Chester Township, Wabash County, IN to Andrew & Hattie (Overlander) Betten. She graduated in 1951 from Chester High School, North Manchester, IN. On October 30, 1952 she married Herbert Moyer. He passed away July 6, 2015. Dora was an LPN at Timbercrest Retirement Community for 18 years. She and her husband, Herbert, spent many winters in Ocala, FL. She was an avid reader, enjoyed long walks and spending time with her family. Dora attended the Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester, IN. She is survived by one son, Robert (Tanya) Moyer, North Manchester, IN; daughters, Diana (Brad) Lankford, Warsaw, IN & Judy Moyer-Schmitt, Ocala, FL; brothers, Clifford Betten, North Manchester, IN and Clarence Betten, North Manchester, IN; sisters, Marie Niccum, North Manchester, IN and Evelyn Clark, North Manchester, IN and two grandchildren. One brother, George Betten, and one sister, Bertha Kline, are deceased.
