Donald R.Karst, age 62, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday October 26, 2016 at 10:30 am at Renaissance Village, Fort Wayne. He worked at Orton Crane and Farm Bureau Grain Elevator, as well as being self- employed.
Donald was born July 14, 1954, in Huntington, the son of Richard T. and Lilah E. (Cook) Karst. He is survived by 5 children Jason John Taylor of Memphis, TN, Michelle Houston of Huntington, Donald Richard Karst Jr. of Huntington, Brad (Shannon) Karst of Huntington, and Jami Karst of Huntington, grandchildren Donald R. Karst III, Krista (Chris) Baker, Katelyn Huddleston, Javaun Houston, Jessica Houston, Madison Karst, Ethan Karst, Evan Karst, Paige (Josyah) Arquette, Seleste Dubuc, Natalia Jenks, Tristen Till, Nikita Jacobs, and JJ Porter, 7 great- grandchildren, brothers and sisters Greg (Carol) Karst of Huntington, Donna Karst of Fort Wayne, Vincent (Susan) Karst of Michigan, Steve (Leah) Karst of Fort Wayne, Debbie Eckert of Huntington, Carol Karst of Huntington, and John (Deb) Karst of Michigan. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Tim Karst and Randy Karst.
Visitation will be held Saturday October 29 from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon preceding the 12:00 funeral service at Deal-Rice Funeral Home- Huntington Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
