Donald Gene Zoch, age 58, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord Saturday May 21, 2016 at 10:10 am at his home. He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School, and had worked as a press brake set-up/operator at Wayne Metal and then at Huntington Sheet Metal. He was a member of Union Church and enjoyed gardening, drag racing, car shows and working on cars.
Don was born August 3, 1957 in Fort Wayne, the son of Allen and Barbara (Miller) Zoch. His parents survive in Columbia City. On July 11, 1981 he married his beloved wife of 34 years Dianne Blake in Huntington. She survives in Huntington. Also surviving are a son Jeremy (Jennifer) Retherford of Markle, a daughter Kristy Retherford of Huntington, 4 grandchildren Jordan, Dylan, Lexy and Kelsey Retherford, a brother Rick Zoch of Columbia City and a sister Linda (Todd) Hoffman of Noblesville.
Visitation will be held Tuesday May 24 from 1-3 pm preceding the 3:00 pm funeral service at Deal-Rice Funeral Home- Huntington Chapel with Pastor Mark Hoffer officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
