Don T. “Chip” Dangerfield, Jr.

Don T. “Chip” Dangerfield, Jr., 47, of Wabash, Indiana, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at his home in Wabash. He was born September 18, 1970 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania to Don T. Dangerfield Sr. and Dianne (McDaniel) Powers.

Chip was a 1989 graduate of Southwood High School. He was a construction worker. He was a member of the New Life Baptist Church, Wabash. Chip enjoyed woodworking, carpentry work, being outdoors, hunting and fishing. His greatest joy was spending time with his son and his family.

He is survived by his mother, Dianne Powers, and his son, Mason Dangerfield, both of Wabash; three sisters, Pamela (Michael) Hawkins of Wabash, Penni (Richard) Gale of North Manchester, and Patricia Gidley of Wabash, his fiancee, Carisa Blanton of Wabash, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Don T. Dangerfield, Sr., and his step-father, Paul Powers.

Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.

Preferred memorial is to Chip’s family in care of Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
