Dolly A. Oaks, 75, of Peru passed away at 5:15am on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor (Peru) after an extended illness.
She was born in Waterloo, Indiana on May 28, 1942 to Herman and Lorrine (Collins) Oaks. Dolly retired from American Stationary in Peru in 2005.
She is survived by brothers Bartley Oaks and Deon Oaks, and sisters Mildred Arnett and Linda Rasmus, all of Peru. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 11am – 2pm on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 2pm, with Pastor Nelson Icing officiating. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mexico, Indiana.
