Dennis was born in Marion, Indiana on October 14, 1960 to the late Wendell and Elma (Taylor) Crain. He passed away on September 19, 2016 in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Dennis resided in Grant County his entire life. During his working years he worked for Grant County Mobile Homes. He enjoyed helping others and would often help pass out food to those in need. He also liked to help others doing odd jobs. Whenever possible he attended Hillside Wesleyan Church.
Dennis is survived by his brothers, Faris (Alice) Crain, Marion; James (Florence Dunkerson) Merrill, Marion; sisters, Judy Harrison, Deland, Florida; Madaline (Jesse) Parker, Bowling Green, South Carolina.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 South Washington Street, Marion, Indiana.
