Democrat Terry Doran, a Logansport city councilman, has filed his candidacy for House District 23 which includes Cass, Fulton, and Miami Counties. He has served as an at-large member of Logansport City Council since 2016. Doran sits on city council’s finance, planning, and zoning committees. Indiana Rep. Bill Friend, R-Macy, currently represents District 23 and will retire from state government when his current term ends this year. While Doran is unopposed in the May 8 primary, he’ll be up against Republican Ethan Manning in the Nov. 6 general election.
