Dee M. Royer, 95, North Manchester, Indiana, passed away at 9:00 p.m. on April 21, 2016 at Timbercrest Senior Healthcare Center, North Manchester, Indiana. Dee was born on April 26, 1920 to Howard R. and Betty L. (Fanning) Royer in Servia, Indiana. On February 19, 1944 Dee married Mildred Stackhouse, who later passed away on February 6, 2006. Dee then married A. Margaret Herring on August 11, 2007. Margaret passed away on December 27, 2014. Dee dedicated his life to helping others. He taught school for 32 years and served as administrator in several school systems for 11 years. He retired in 1980. He was a member of Masonic Blue Lodge #323, Logansport, Indiana; Scottish Rite, Indianapolis, Indiana; Mizpah Shrine Temple, Fort Wayne, Indiana; Good Sam RV Club Chapter 13; Holiday Ramblers Club Chapter 56; Retired Teachers of Wabash County; Indiana State Retired Teachers; Shepherds Center, North Manchester, Indiana; the North Manchester Historical Society; Rotary Club, North Manchester, Indiana; and a member of the North Manchester United Methodist Church. He also served in the US Army from 1942-1943. Dee is survived by his nephew Tom (Cathie) Royer, Adrian, Michigan; one step-daughter Ann L. (Gregory) Hermann, Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. He is proceed in death by one brother Max Royer.   Friends and family may call Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Timbercrest Chapel 2201 East Street, North Manchester, Indiana. Services will be Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East Street, North Manchester, Indiana. Pastor Larry Ray will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, 620 West 3rd Street, Rochester, Indiana. For those who wish to honor the memory of Dee M.
