Deborah L. (Douglas) Galbraith (64) went peacefully to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family, Sunday, March 13, 2016. She was born January 11, 1952 in Peru, Indiana to William and Martha (Lewis) Douglas. Deborah was a homemaker who loved cooking, baking, crocheting, and reading. She was involved with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 2067 and throughout the State of Indiana, along with the Jr. Girls Auxiliary to the VFW. Debbie was also involved in preparing meals during Thanksgiving time for homeless and shut-ins.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She married her soulmate, Paul Galbraith, Jr. on January 11, 1994, who survives. Also surviving, daughter, Angela (Jeff) Moon, Peru, sister, Teresa (Todd) Fitzgerald, Peru. Grandchildren Tiffani and Brandi Hunt, Austyn and Gabby Corner, Great-grandchildren Isabelle and Jaidyn. She will also be missed by her nieces, Michele Gahs, Dawn Lambert, Angel Hines, Sarah Gillespie, and Kim Allen; and nephews, Michael Fuqua, Andy Fitzgerald, Doug Smith, Troy Gregory, Jake Douglas, Scott and Leon Jones.

Deborah joined her family who preceded her, along with her parents, her sisters Karen (Douglas) Roe and Cynthia (Douglas) Clemons, and her brother Bill Douglas.

Memorial donations may be made to VFW Post 2067.

Friends and family may gather 9-11 AM on Saturday March 19, 2016 with services following at 11 AM at Flowers Leedy Funeral Home, Peru. Pastor Bob Adelsperger, officiating.
