David Stanley Wolfe, 86, Rochester, Indiana passed away at 3:08 p.m. at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, Indiana on November 19, 2016. David was born on November 10, 1930 in Kosciusko County, Indiana to Galen B. and Flossie Faye (Ulrey) Wolfe. On May 22, 1954 David married Laura Belle Aughinbaugh. In 1992 David retired from the State Highway Department after 15 years of service. Prior to working for the State Highway Department, he worked at both grain elevators in North Manchester, Indiana. David was an Army veteran and served in the Korean War. He attended South Pleasant United Methodist Church, Silver Lake, Indiana. David was an avid mushroom hunter and hard worker. He is survived by four sons James S. Wolfe, Akron, Indiana, Jack M. Wolfe, North Manchester, Indiana, Joe D. (Tari) Wolfe, Wabash, Indiana and Jay L. (Lori) Wolfe, Andrews, Indiana; one sister Patsy Lou Kester, Vevay, Indiana; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. David is preceded in death by his parents Galen and Flossie Faye Wolfe, two brothers and one sister. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at South Pleasant Cemetery, Silver Lake, Indiana. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate.
