David Clinton Meyer, 71, of North Manchester, Indiana passed away at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at his home. He was born to the late Everett C. and A. Eileen (Haymond) Meyer on January 5, 1945 in Wabash, In.
David married Patricia “Joanne” Elsner on June 8th, 1968; she survives in North Manchester, Indiana. He retired for the United States Army and also as a wholesale manager. David was a member of the North Manchester United Methodist Church and the National American Legion.
David is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Eileen P. (Robert) Meyer Sklar of North Manchester, Indiana; a brother, Alan Douglas Meyer of Huntington, Indiana; and grandchildren, Emma and James Sklar. There will be a celebration of life service for his mother, Eileen Meyer and himself on October 1st, 2016 at North Manchester United Methodist Church, 306 E 2nd St, North Manchester, IN 46962, at 4 p.m. Friends and family may call 1 hour prior to the service.
