David A. Ruble, 81, a lifetime resident of Warren, IN, passed away at 10:20 AM on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Heritage Pointe in Warren. He was born on Saturday, September 21, 1935, to John & Avis (Williams) Ruble. David was a 1953 graduate of Warren High School. A year after graduation he married Jane Hoover in 1954 at the Warren United Methodist Church; together they have celebrated 62 years of marriage. David graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Education. He was a former elementary teacher at Anthony Elementary in Muncie and the former Principal at Andrews Elementary in Andrews. After retiring from the Huntington County School Corporation David started farming. He and his wife Jane are members of the Emmanuel Community Church in Ft. Wayne.
Loving survivors include: Wife – Jane (Hoover) Ruble, Warren, IN, 4 Daughters – Debbie (Steve) Darnell, Huntington, IN, Diane (Joe) Begley, South Whitley, IN, Susan (Russ) Denstorff, Noblesville, IN and Nancy (Steve) Tumbleson, Warren, IN, Brother – Tom Ruble, Indianapolis, IN, 9 Grandchildren – Bruce (Danielle) Darnell, Mike (Paige) Darnell, Josanne (Robby) Aungst, Jayanna (Fiance, Andrew Capite) Begley, Jason (Kara) Bowman, Jeffrey David (Jules) Bowman, Amanda (Bill) Russo, Stephanie (Eddie) Wielosinski, Eric (Fiance, Breanne Bloemker) Tumbleson and 9 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his: Father – John Ruble, Mother – Avis (Williams) Ruble and Sister – Sara Zook.

A service to celebrate David’s life will be at Glancy – H. Brown & Son Funeral Home at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 28, 2016; viewing will start one hour prior to the service. Pastor Bob Bruce and Pastor C. Ray Miller are officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
