David A. Christian, 62, North Manchester, Indiana passed away at 8:15 a.m. on May 20, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident at CR 1400 North 100 East, North Manchester, Indiana. David was born on February 4, 1954 in Warsaw, Indiana to James A. and Lockie A. (Enis) Christian. He married Debra A. Stump on October 26, 1992. Debra passed away on January 25, 2013. He worked for Zimmer, Warsaw, Indiana as a machinist for thirty-five years, before retiring in July 2015. He graduated from Wawasee High School in 1972. David was an avid bird hunter and outdoorsman. He loved to pheasant hunt. David also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was always able to offer words of encouragement and always found the positive in every situation. David leaves a legacy of love, family, and commitment. David is survived by his two sons Tony (Erika) Martin, Charlotte, North Carolina and Mark (Lindsey) Christian, Zionsville, Indiana; one daughter Alexis Christian, North Manchester, Indiana; two brothers John (Jan) Christian, Syracuse, Indiana and Greg (Roxanne) Christian, Bourbon, Indiana; five sisters Betty Fanchelli, Mesquite, Texas, Billy Ann Wright, Warsaw, Indiana, Jewel (Tom) Hicks, Warsaw, Indiana, Jimma (Mike) Masterson, Warsaw, Indiana, and Ellie Susan (Henry) Prater, Warsaw, Indiana; and seven grandchildren Riley, Katie, Xander, Avery, Trevor, Leah, and Jace. David is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two sisters. Friends and family may call Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Service will be Friday, May 27, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with calling a half hour prior services at Eel River Community Church of the Brethren, 2507 East State Road 14, Silver Lake, Indiana. Pastor Doug Reichenbach will officiate. Burial will be in the Ulrey Cemetery, 2507 East State Road 14, Silver Lake, Indiana. For those who wish to honor the memory of David A.
