DaShaun Garrett, 19, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 4:20 am, Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Vernon Health and Rehab in Wabash. He was born October 8, 1997.
DaShaun enjoyed school and educational videos, flashlights, and was very observant of those around him. He loved having books read to him, and especially loved his fellow classmates and residents.
He is survived by his guardian, Barbara Ellis of Wabash, and all of his friends and family at Vernon Manor.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Tim Prater officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 9:30-10:30 am Thursday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Vernon Health and Rehab.
