Danny R. Caldwell, 68, of Peru was called home on November 22, 2017 at 12:04pm at Vibra Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was born on January 25, 1949 to the late William and Ruth Caldwell. Danny was a construction worker for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting.
Danny is survived by three sons: Danny Caldwell Jr., Connor Caldwell, and Brandon Caldwell, all of Peru. Also, a brother and his wife, Jim and Diana Caldwell, of Peru. Also two sisters: Laura Burgess and husband Dwight of Peru, and Brenda Weaver and husband Chip of Converse. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Ruth Caldwell, a sister Linda Townsend, and brothers Denny Caldwell, Benny Caldwell, and David Caldwell.
Visitation will be held from 11am – 1pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 1pm. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Danny through the funeral home.
