Dale Lynn Younce Fry Wright 67 of Upland died peacefully Sunday October 1, 2017 at her home in the presence of her loving family. Dale Lynn was born February 25, 1950 at Converse, Indiana to the late Don and Betty Younce. She was a graduate of Oak Hill High School and Ball State University where she received her Master’s Degree in Education. She was a school teacher for the Eastbrook School System for 42 years teaching at the old Upland building, Matthews, and Eastbrook Junior High School.
Dale Lynn enjoyed quilting, was an avid reader, doing crossword puzzles and going to Hoosier Park. She was a piano player and used to play for the Marion Easter Pageant and Hanfield United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Indiana State Teachers Association.
Dale Lynn married Larry Wright October 25, 1987 at Upland, Indiana he survives. Also surviving are daughter Abby Fry, Indianapolis, IN Sons; Andrew “Buzz” (Jessica) Fry , Bloomington, IN and Cody (Lindsay) Wright, Muncie, IN Step-Daughter; Cory (Gabe) Wagner, Marion, IN Step-son; T.J. (Brittany) Wright , Marion IN. 8 Grandchildren Sister; Mary Lou Wittig, Florence, MA Cousin; Jody (Mark) Presnall, Jonesboro, IN
The family would like especially thank Great Lakes Healthcare and Lori Skidmore, M.D. of Montpelier, IN for the special care that they gave to Dale Lynn.
Services for Dale Lynn have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Funeral and Cremation Services, Jones-Smith Chapel, 259 N. Main St., Upland, IN where the family will receive friends on Thursday October 5, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00PM. At Dale Lynn’s request cremation will follow.
