Dale E. Beltz, 73, Converse, died in his home at 8:15 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2017. He was born in Bluffton to the late Ray and Fannie (Dix) Beltz. On January 12, 1964, Dale married Charolette Curtiss, and she survives.

Dale graduated from Oak Hill High School and received his associate’s degree from Indiana University. He was an electrician at Chrysler in Kokomo and retired after 26 years of service. He had previously worked at Rex Collins Electric and General Tire.

Dale was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He loved to play pool and always had a table in his home.

He is survived by Charolette, his wife of 53 years; daughter, Jody (Bill Gary) Beltz, Converse; grandson, William (Amanda) Beltz, Converse; sister, Donna Jarrett, Indianapolis; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and pets.

His parents, as well as his son, Jeffery Beltz, preceded him in death.

The family will have a memorial visitation from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion.
