Clara May Kelley

Clara May Kelley, 67, lifelong resident of Marion, passed away at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne at 1:14 a.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2018. She was born in Marion on November 20, 1950, to the late Ralph Marion and Martha (Roser) Teegarden.

Clara was a stay-at-home mother to three children, Gloria Stotts, Marion, James Kelley, Marion, and Marion Scott (Shannan) Kelley, Marion. She enjoyed going to cook-outs with her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Clara also enjoyed watching cowboy shows and westerns, especially those with John Wayne in them, and listening to the music of Elvis.

She is also survived by grandchildren, Amanda Stotts, Charles Holmes Stotts, Jr., Scotty Kelley, Jr., Abigail Kelley, Rebecca Kelley, Jessica Kelley, James Kelley, Jr., and Patrick Kelley; great-grandchildren, Carlos Stotts, Aviah Kirkland, Brandyn Kelley, Candyn Kelley, and James Harley Copp; and three brothers, Ronald, Jack, and Stanley Teegarden.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a son, Ronald Allen Teegarden.

Family and friends may call from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2018, at Grant Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN. Burial will follow at Estates of Serenity.
